Terms & Policies
At K’s Mobile Detailing LLC, we take pride in delivering professional, convenient, and reliable mobile detailing services across Beaufort County, the Lowcountry, and surrounding areas. To ensure smooth scheduling, fair pricing, and consistent quality, we have outlined the following policies. These terms are designed to protect both our clients and our team, while maintaining the premium level of service we are known for.
1. General Policies (Apply to All Clients)
Travel Policy
Our services are fully mobile — we come to you. To balance convenience with operational costs, the following travel rules apply:
Standard Service Area (No Fee): Travel within 40 miles of Beaufort, SC is included in all service pricing. This covers Beaufort County, most of Jasper County and some nearby areas.
Extended Travel Surcharges:
41–60 miles → $30 surcharge
61–80 miles → $60 surcharge
81–100 miles → Quoted individually; a minimum total of $1,000 in services may apply.
For high-value projects such as RV, boat, or aircraft detailing, ceramic coatings, paint corrections, or contracted fleet accounts, travel surcharges may be waived or reduced at our discretion.
Note: Travel surcharges are non-refundable once scheduled, even if the client cancels or reschedules. Clients located in gated communities, marinas, or secured facilities must arrange access passes or approvals in advance to avoid delays or cancellations.
Card on File, Deposits & Payments
To secure all appointments and ensure smooth transactions, K’s Mobile Detailing LLC requires a valid credit or debit card to be placed on file at the time of booking.
Card on File Requirement
A card on file is mandatory for all appointments.
The card will not be charged until service is completed unless otherwise agreed (e.g., deposits).
The card may be charged for late cancellations, no-shows, inaccessible vehicles, or late invoice payments.
Appointments cannot be confirmed without a card on file.
Deposits for High-Value Jobs
Services priced at $1,500 or above require a 25% non-refundable deposit at the time of booking.
This deposit secures your appointment and covers product and preparation costs allocated specifically to your job.
Payment Terms
Payment is due immediately upon completion unless invoiced under a corporate agreement.
Accepted methods: Credit/debit cards and contactless Square payments.
Cash is not accepted as a primary method of payment (cash tips allowed).
Invoices must be paid within 24 hours; unpaid balances incur a 15% late fee until cleared.
Once services are completed, no refunds are provided.
Cancellation & Rescheduling
Notice Required: Cancellations or reschedules must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
Same-Day or No-Shows: A same-day cancellation or inaccessible vehicle may result in a fee of up to 15% of your scheduled service total.
Weather Exceptions: Weather-related cancellations are rescheduled without penalty. We also carry a canopy that allows us to work through light weather conditions where possible.
Limitations & Disclaimers
Extra Charges May Apply For:
Excessive pet hair
Sand or mud buildup
Heavy soiling, mold, mildew, or biohazards (blood, vomit, hazardous waste, etc.)
No Guarantee On:
Permanent stain removal
Deep odors (e.g., smoke, mold, pet urine)
Not Responsible For:
Pre-existing damage such as loose trim, cracked leather, or failing electronics
Mechanical or electrical issues arising during or after detailing
Items left inside the vehicle (please remove all valuables before service)
2. Individual Client Policies
Vehicle Preparation
All personal items should be removed before our arrival.
Excessive items may require rescheduling or incur an organizational surcharge.
For boat services, please clear out compartments where applicable.
Arrival & Access
We operate on a 30-minute arrival window. Delays due to traffic or unforeseen conditions will be communicated in advance.
If we cannot access your vehicle and cannot reach you, the appointment may be canceled and treated as a no-show.
Satisfaction Guarantee
If you are unsatisfied with your service, notify us within 24 hours. We will return and address any reasonable concerns at no extra cost.
Refunds are not available once service has been completed.
Gift Cards
All gift cards are non-refundable and non-transferable.
They do not expire, unless otherwise stated during purchase.
3. Corporate & Fleet Client Policies
Scheduling & Access
We offer flexible service cycles: weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.
It is the client’s responsibility to ensure all vehicles are:
Present and accessible at the service location
Unlocked or with keys/fobs provided
Missed or inaccessible vehicles may be billed at a minimum service charge.
Billing & Payment Options
Card on File (Preferred): We securely store your card through Square and charge it automatically after each service. Receipts are emailed instantly.
Emailed Invoice (Due in 24 Hours): Invoices must be paid within 24 hours. Overdue balances incur late fees until cleared.
Late Payments: Continued late payments may lead to suspension of service or require card on file for future scheduling.
Vehicle Condition
Fleet vehicles must be reasonably free of trash, hazardous materials, or extreme biohazards.
Excessive pet hair, mold, mildew, or extreme conditions may:
Be billed at a higher rate, or
Be declined if outside the agreed scope of service.
We do not guarantee complete stain or odor removal in high-use fleet vehicles.
Liability Disclaimer
K’s Mobile Detailing LLC is not liable for:
Pre-existing damage or wear
Mechanical or electrical failures occurring during or after detailing
Lost or left-behind items (please remove valuables in advance)
Service Agreements
Recurring or high-volume accounts may request a custom Service Agreement.
Agreements include set pricing, service levels, cancellation terms, and scheduling commitments.
